Cairo University President Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar has issued a decree of appointing Asst. Prof. Dr. Haidy Nady Asham of Faculty of Physical Therapy, at Cairo University, a General Coordinator for Disability Challengers Affairs at the university. Haidy Asham is in charge of discussing the complaints, needs and welfare of disability challengers, supervising and ensuring their Constitutional rights at the university. She is also responsible for proposing what should be done by the University Administration to guarantee their rights according to Constitution and law.
Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar earlier decided allowing facilities of Cairo University for people with special needs and revising the frameworks of medical and social services offered to them in order to become more effective. Nassar also decided mingling people with special needs in activities presented by the university and faculties and providing them with their needs.
