Cairo University President Inspects Faculty of Law Exams at New Pavilions

Cairo University President inspected the exams progress of Faculty of Law students that started on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the pavilions established at the university playgrounds. The pavilions are made in order for Faculty of Law students to perform their exams at one period. Cairo University Vice-Presidents, Faculty of Law Dean Prof. Dr. Omar Salem, and Faculty of Law Vice-Dean for Education and Students Prof. Dr. Abdel-Moneim Zamzam accompanied Cairo University President Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar during the tour.


Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar made sure that the students are provided with security during their exams. Nassar was reassured that administrative security personnel organize the entry and exit of students through the gates that lead to playgrounds. Besides, he made sure that the place is provided with adequate illumination and ventilation, and ambulances and civil vehicles are available. Nassar said that the pavilions, dedicated to the exams of Faculty of Law students, are provided with rotating cameras for both security and catching cheaters.


Cairo University President arrived the exam place at 8:30 a.m. He waited until the exam ended at 12 p.m. and talked with students about exams. Nassar promised students with special needs at Faculty of Law to provide them with a special exam hall inside indoor gymnasium at the university playgrounds starting from tomorrow.


Nassar said that the exams were surrounded with quietness and only limited cases of cheating were caught in the act without affecting exam progress. Nassar added that that the exam pavilions are dedicated to Faculty of Law students only because of the coincidence of exams with Ramadan to hold exams for one period from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., whereas the rest of faculties hold their exams at the campus.


Cairo University President is to make a tour to inspect exam halls at Cairo University campus and the educational building at the university hostel.
