Cairo University announced the increase of internationally published scientific research among academic staff members in different faculties of the university and their academic sectors. The publications published in the name of Cairo University in international scientific fields and periodicals during 2016 have also increased amounting to 3, 483 publications, i.e. nearly 19% of the total production of the international scientific research of Egypt which amounts to 18, 669 publications.
Cairo University President Gaber Nassar said that ،،there is a more increase than the previous year 2015 that amounts to nearly 468 publications.,, He pointed out that ،،there is a growth in the amount of the scientific publications published in the name of Cairo University at the international level. The quality of these publications enjoys high impact factor which is known in the international scientific fields for their high quality and modernity.,, He added that ،،Cairo University is caring about the scientific research system and provides it with suitable financing.,,
Cairo University Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs said that ،،the increase in the rates of international publication in the name of Cairo University greatly contributes to enhancing the position of Cairo University in the global rankings of universities. It also keeps its academic good name among the higher education institutions abroad.,, He pointed out that ،،Faculty of Science, at Cairo University, occupies the first place of the international scientific research of Cairo University, followed by the medical sector faculties then Faculty of Engineering. Nearly 30, 000 publications of Cairo University throughout the last three years were quoted.,,
