Faculty of Science Celebrates Class 88 Graduation on Thursday

Faculty of Science, at Cairo University, organizes a graduation ceremony for class 88 on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 5 p.m., at Grand Celebration Hall, Cairo University.


The ceremony is sponsored by Cairo University President Gaber Nassar and Faculty of Science Dean El-Sayed Fahim. The ceremony is witnessed by a group of Faculty of Science academic staff members, the staff members who won scientific awards counting 12 members, and honored students.


The ceremony includes honoring those who spent 50 years in serving the faculty, namely class 67 counting 22 staff members. Faculty of Science Vice-Dean for Education and Students Affairs Magdy Omar and the holders of doctorates and master,s degrees in science are going to be honored as well.


Class 88 is the class of Full Professor of Physics, former Cairo University Vice-President for Community Service and Environmental Development and former Dean of Faculty of Science Gamal Abdel-Nasser. The ceremony will start by capturing souvenir photos for the departments of Faculty of Science and the parade manifestation, with military music, launched in front of the faculty to the statue of the Unknown Soldier then to Grand Celebration Hall. The ceremonials will start by the national anthem, the Holy Quran and then the ceremony ends by honoring and awards distribution.
