Student Transfers to Cairo University Started this Week, Priority for High-Ranked Students

Central Transfers Office – Cairo University receives transfers requests and student enrollment transfers from Tuesday July 25, 2017, to September 1, 2017. The grade of high-ranked students should not be less than excellent to be transferred to Faculty of Engineering and medical faculties, not less than very good for the rest of other practical faculties and not less than good for theoretical faculties. Transfers are done in the framework of the rate determined by the council of each faculty in light of faculties capacities for numbers of students transferred to them. The priority is for high-ranked students and students should provide proof of their place of residence at the geographic domain of Cairo University. Transfers are not allowed for Faculties of Economic and Political Science, Mass Communication, Dar El-Ulum, Archaeology, Oral and Dental Medicine and Computers and Information.

Cairo University Vice-President for Education and Students Dr. Mohamed El-khosht said that ،،The transfers of newly enrolled students who passed General Secondary stage to either faculties that have counterparts at other universities or the faculties that do not have counterparts should be conducted by University Admission Co-ordination Bureau.,, El-Khosht pointed out that ،،Students who want to transfer their enrollment should present case study statement from the faculties they transferred from and prove their place of residence.,,

El-Khosht added that ،،New registration for Cairo University hostels is conducted electronically starting from mid-August.,, He pointed out that ،،Cairo University begins its preparations for receiving students in the coming academic year.,,
