Cairo University President Inspects Medical Examination Procedures for New Students, Urges Providing Free Medicine to Students Infected with Hepatitis C Virus

Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht inspects, on August 27, 2017, the HQ of Cairo University medical examinations for new students at Students Hospital, at Giza, to follow-up the progress of medical examination procedures for entrant students in the upcoming academic year 2017/2018.


Cairo University President inspects the equipment of Students Hospital and health services presented to the university students in the new academic year including establishing health file for each entrant student of Cairo University.  


Cairo University President is accompanied in his inspecting tour by Student Hospital Director Khaled Ramadan and physicians. Elkhosht urges providing new students with all comfort means and all possible facilities. He pointed out that ،،Cairo University is the first university to pay attention to monitoring cases infected with Hepatitis C Virus and providing them with free medicine, however, the infection of any student does not hinder his or her enrolment in the university.,,  


Prof. Dr. Mohamed Osman Elkhosht said that ،،Cairo University prepares health file for each entrant student for inserting all information and data of student health case and first hand treatment throughout study period at Cairo University.,, He pointed out that ،،Cairo University designed a website for new students registration to facilitate the conduct of medical examination and prevent crowd during its procedures.,,


Cairo University earlier announced the medical examination dates for new students at the HQ of Students Hospital at Giza. The schedule starts with August 26, 2017, for Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of oral and Dental Medicine, then 27/8 for Faculty of Pharmacy, 28/8 for Faculty of Engineering, 29/8 for Faculty of Economics and Political Science, and 30/8 for Faculty of Mass Communication. Those who missed the dates of medical examination for above-mentioned faculties should attend on 6/9, then 7/9 for Faculty of Archaeology and Faculty of Urban Planning, 9/9 for Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Nursing, 10/9 for Faculty of Science, and 9/10, 9/11 for Faculty of Dar El-Ulum.   


The schedule also includes 13/9 for Faculty of Computers and Information, Faculty of Specific Education and Faculty of Kindergarten, from 9/14 to 9/18 for Faculty of Commerce, from 19/9 to 23/9 for Faculty of Arts, from 24/9 to 27/9 for Faculty of Law, 28/9 for Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and 30/9 for those who missed the dates of their faculties.
