Cairo University Conference Discusses Inclusive Growth for Putting End to Poverty

 Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University (FEPS – CU) launches the second international conference for Euro Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies (EMNES) Project. It is a research project financed by European Union. The conference is held on December 6-7, 2017, and sponsored by Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht. The conference activities open at Steigenberger Hotel El Tahrir Cairo at 9 a.m. It is attended by the Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform Hala Elsaid. Nearly 77 researchers from Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco, Spain, Germany, and France, besides a group of FEPS professors participate in the conference.


Faculty of Economics and Political Science Vice-Dean for Education and Students Mahmoud Elsaid said that the conference handles the inclusive growth issue for putting an end to poverty and inequality at the Middle East especially Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, and Morocco. He pointed out that Euro Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies (EMNES) Project research papers will be reviewed. Nearly 20 research papers in different economic fields will be discussed in 8 sessions over two days.
