Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht meets the representative of Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Japanese advisory of the project, and Nihon Sekkei Inc. as architectural advisory. The meeting is intended for completing the rest of steps necessary to begin the establishment of New Abu-Rish Hospital on a plot donated by Arab African International Bank. The hospital will be composed of 7 floors on 500 meters area behind the old building to be specialized for outpatient clinics to reduce the load over the old building. The medical service will be based on new concepts.
Cairo University President decides to assign the Egyptian responsibility of the project to the Engineering Advisory and Cairo University former President Ali Abdelrahman and Giza Governorate. One of the engineers of Cairo University Engineering Administration will be assigned for coordinating with the Japanese side, supporting and securing neighboring apartments along the project period.
