In conjunction with the first day of study at universities, Prof. Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University has held a meeting with members of the electoral college of the university which has been attended by representatives of the university's president on the eighth of March.
During his meeting with staff members who are members of the electoral college of Cairo University, President of Cairo University has explained the dimensions of the situation of securing the university and the executive procedures that the university adopts, in this respect, in the framework of the protocol which is signed between the Ministry of Interior and the Supreme Council of Universities. He also has pointed out that the administrative security of the university is responsible for security inside the university. President of Cairo University has also called upon all the components of the university's society to bear the responsibility of passing with the university to the safe haven during the second term.
President of Cairo University has confirmed that in spite of the exceptional circumstances that the university went through in the first term which have badly affected the university's income from expatriate students, centers and units of special natures and the delay of paying fees by students, the university has fulfilled all its obligations towards the educational process and research which is reflected in the university's place in the international ranking.
