The Grand Celebration Hall, also known as the Dome of Cairo University, was inaugurated in 1935 with an

overall area 3160 . The Hall accommodates almost 1066 spectators. It witnessed many grand celebrations
and political events. A number of world leaders delivered their speeches on its stage, such as Gamal Abdul
Nasser, Jacques Chirac, and Barak Obama. Till this day, CU’s events and celebrations are held in this hall.
